This knitting pattern is a fun intermediate knitting design. The wrap is a cape style that features a tie front or you could also use a shawl pin to keep the wrap in place on your shoulders.
I designed this wrap in a light weight number 3 yarn that has a little sparkle in it. Any light weight number 3 yarn will work and you need approximately 400 yards. The wrap is knit on size 7 needles – circular are recommended but straight needles will also work.

This knitting pattern is for a chunky knit scarf that uses buttons to keep it secure and close to your neck to keep you warm. The scarf is knit on size US 13 knitting needles with bulky weight yarn – approx. 150 yds. The yarn I used was from Michaels – Loops and Threads Cozy Wool but any type of bulky yarn can be used or you could even use 2 yarns of worsted weight held together. The buttons can be placed and buttoned almost anywhere on the scarf as the stitch is open and perfect for the buttonholes. The scarf is approximately 27 in. long and 10.5 in. wide.
This pattern is great for an advanced beginner to intermediate knitter. You will need to know how to knit, yarn over, knit 2 together, purl, and knit through the back loop. There are 2 download files for this pattern – one is a table to keep track of your rows in the two row pattern repeat.
