Knitting Pattern for lace sweater vest.
This is an intermediate level knitting pattern. The pattern features a pretty diagonal lace design. It is a 6 row repeat and you will need to know how to knit, purl, do a ssk – or slip slip knit, and do yarn over to complete this pattern.
The yarn used to knit this vest was from Cascade Yarns – called Avalon. It is a blend of 50/50 cotton and acrylic. Other cotton acrylic yarns will also work for this pattern. The knitting needle size needed to knit this pattern is a size US 8. You can use straight or circular but you will need circular knitting needles that are 24 or 29 inches long to knit the sleeve band as they are knit in the round.
There are 2 sizes in the pattern for this sweater – a size small to medium which has a finished 36 inch around the bust and hips and a size medium to large that has a 40 1/2 inch around the bust and hips. Both sizes are about 23 inches in length.
You may sell any finished items made from this pattern.
